Nah, He’s Not THAT bad?!?

In this post, I reflect on the current state of the nation and compare President Trump to Andrew Johnson, America’s 17th president. While both have contributed to division, I argue that Johnson’s actions, particularly an executive order he signed, had a long-lasting negative impact on race relations and the nation’s economy. Despite Trump’s divisiveness, I believe he still has the potential to repair the damage, unlike Johnson, whose decisions left lasting scars.
