The Hypertension Blues
After being diagnosed with postpartum hypertension, I share my journey of coping with high blood pressure after childbirth. Despite feeling fine initially, my visit to the doctor revealed concerning numbers that led to an emergency room visit. I was diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia, a condition affecting many new mothers. Through this experience, I learned the importance of rest, self-care, and not rushing back to routine. To other new moms, I encourage you to listen to your body, rest, and prioritize your health, as it’s essential for both you and your baby’s well-being.
