Bumping Into Walls
As a Black woman with big dreams and bougie taste, I’ve often felt stuck, unable to move past invisible boundaries. I’ve watched others overcome their stagnation with the help of loved ones, but for me, motherhood and lack of focus have kept me in a constant state of frustration. Despite the challenges, I’ve realized that I don’t have to choose between being a mother and chasing my dreams. It’s about taking baby steps and finding balance. My advice: if you feel stuck, hit pause, reassess, and find new ways to push past the plateau. Don’t let life’s hurdles dim your light.
My Focus Is Off
After months of being consumed by someone else’s mood swings, I realized I had neglected my own well-being. In an effort to regain balance, I decided to turn my attention back to myself during my DiscoverMe month. This period of reflection allowed me to refocus on personal growth, family, and my aspirations as a blogger and entrepreneur. In this post, I share how I’ve learned to set boundaries, embrace my flaws, and prioritize my own journey toward self-improvement.
